I prefer lifestyle photography over anything else.  What fuels my heart are the moments full of interaction, emotion, movement and most of all, love.  I strive to capture the authentic moments by giving (often silly) prompts that help to loosen everyone up, and bring out that good stuff!   

My overall goal is to provide emotive images that make you smile, laugh, or even cry (happy tears, of course!) 

I work with natural light outdoors to create soft and flattering looks.  My studio is also natural light, although I do have lighting gear that I use on occasion as well. 

I have several favorite locations for outdoor portrait sessions, including local parks, beaches, urban and rural areas. I am happy to recommend specific locations based on your preferences and the time of year.

I do not offer hair and makeup services, but I am happy to recommend talented local stylists and makeup artists who can help you look your best for your portrait session.

Full sessions during a busy season can take 2-4 weeks (not including weekends) for a completed gallery.

Regular mini and themed mini sessions can take up to 2 weeks.

Yes, I love traveling, and new adventures! Simply contact me if you are interested in a destination session, or elopement and we can work out the details. Open to travel within the United States, and worldwide. Taking a trip, and want a personal paparazzi? I'm your girl!

You'll receive an online proof gallery to make your image selections, followed by a gallery full of beautifully edited high resolution images to download straight to your computer.

Absolutely! There is always an option to increase the number of images in your gallery for an additional fee.

I recommend wearing something comfortable, and that makes you feel confident. My editing style looks best with neutral, or muted colors.  Go for earthy tones, as opposed to bright flashy colors.  Fabric that has texture is always a bonus! (Linens, lace, corduroy, sweater knit, waffle knit, organic cotton, muslin, you get the idea). I can help you from start to finish!!! Accessories are always great when they match the vibe of the session too!  

Avoid  clothing with large logos or patterns that may be distracting in the photos.  We want your images to be timeless, and the focus should be on you, not stripes, or logos. :)
